本變種與原變種的區(qū)別在于葉片下面毛被薄，多少粘結(jié)，兩層，上層毛被淡棕色，老時(shí)呈網(wǎng)隙分裂，顯出白色緊密的下層毛被。花期6月。
產(chǎn)云南西北部和西藏東南部。生于海拔3 500-4 560米的高山針葉林緣或灌叢中。模式標(biāo)本采自云南德欽。
